Hi there ronmclaughlin, my name is Kimberly and I form part of the Social Media Department with DISH. I would be happy to help you. Each device should be connected to the TV using a cable. Once it is connected, you need to cycle through the inputs on the TV. Please be sure the receiver and DVD player are on and pause on each input for about 30 seconds and see if you are able to find the picture.
