You wouldn't normally connect the dvd player to the dvr' you'd connect to the Tv as a seperate source signal.

It is not possible to connect your DVD player to our receivers but I'd be happy to help you connect it to your TV using either a Component (RED/BLUE/GREEN/RED/WHITE) or an RCA cable (RED/YELLOW/WHITE)depending on what the TV has available.
