Hi there yukbe, my name is Kimberly and I form part of the Social Media Department with DISH. It will be my pleasure to help you today. A reason why your remote is not changing channels may be because it is not under SAT mode. In order to verify that your remote is in SAT mode, you will know that your remote is in SAT mode by pressing any button on the remote and noticing that the SAT button located at the top is the one lighting up. If this is not the case, please press the SAT button on your remote once and then try changing your channels. If issue persists please feel free to email me at: [email protected]
