Hi there Drewpeliasv, my name is Kimberly and I form part of the Social Media Department with DISH. It is my pleasure to help you today. When you press the 'Guide' button on your remote, does the SAT button at the top pf the remote light up? If so, but the guide still does not appear on the screen, this means that the 'Guide' button on the remote is not working and we will need to send you a replacement remote. If the SAT button is not the one lighting up when you press 'Guide' please press the SAT button once and try the guide again.
