Tv Won't Display Satellite

i have a duodvr 625 and my tv which is not hard wired to the dvr was working fine and then a button on the dish remote was pressed and now all i see is snow on my tv. i have tried changing channels on my tv and nothing works. is there something i am missing? thanks!

Hello! My name is Becki, with DISH Network. To fix this, the main thing that you would want to know is what type of cable you have going from the TV to the receiver. If you have RCA (Re,White, Yellow cables,) then you want to be on an input, usually TV 1 or 2. If you have an HDMI cable, you will want to be on an HDMI input, usually HDMI 1 or 2. You could also be using a coax cable (single round cable) then you want the TV to be on channel 3 or 4.
