We Have No Signal

we have no signal message on tv and with the remote it is not turning the box on or off the green light is on the box

if your television just has a message bouncing around that says no signal than you either do not have the reciever hooked up to the tv properly or the tv is on the wrong input. through the dish network reciever in should never just say "no signal". it will either say "acquiring satallite signal" and do a 0-5 countdown or it will say "your signal has been lost" and it will say to either contact dish or try another channel

I apologize about the signal loss. I know this was posted some time ago but wanted to respond for other customers with same issue. If you are getting the DISH Network logo moving around on the screen (screen saver) make sure the remote is in SAT mode by pressing the SAT button on top of remote, than hit select. If it still does not work you need to reprogram remote. Go to the receiver box push the menu button on receiver, If it is not located on the outside of the box you can usually find it under the front panel on the right side of the receiver. Once you hit menu you want to scroll to option that says system setup, press select using buttons on receiver box. Than you want to scroll to option that says installation, hit select again. Than you need to go to option that says system info and press select. Once in this menu you want to locate box J it will says TV2 look to the right side of where it says rem addr- it will have a number. Than you will press and hold the SAT button down on remote for TV until all the lights light up on top of remote, release the button hit 15# than hit the record button 3 times. Verify that the number that was in box J is now showing 15. Than you want to cancel all the way out using the buttons on the receiver box. If your screen says acquiring signal try holding down the power button on front of receiver for 10 secs and let system reboot. If your screen says no signal you might be in wrong aux mode hit the TV button on top of remote than hit TV/Video input button underneath the TV button it will change mode keep doing this untill you find a picture, once it goes through all modes it will cycle back to the mode you started on.
