My remote won't work during nighttime unless I turn off the dig box everytime I change channels or I need something with the remote but in day time works perfectly. I don't know if the digital box has a sensor sensitive to darkness....

Hi, I am sorry that you are having a provlem with your DISH remote at night. It does sound like you are having an issue with IR interference. If you would like to email me directly and include your account or phone number and I will see if there is a way to switch your remote to UHF to resolve this issue. Please let me know, thank you!
