Hi, I would be happy to assist you with connecting your VHS/DVD player. It will not be connected to the reciever but directly to the TV using either a Component (RED/BLUE/GREEN/RED/WHITE) or an RCA cable (RED/YELLOW/WHITE)depending on what the TV has available. Then you will need to change the inputs on the TV to switch between the VHS/DVD & the reciever. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please email me directly. Thank you!
