Watch Movie On Dish With Dvd

Does my tv need to be on a specific channel to watch a movie from my dvd player? dish won't help me

Hi, I am sorry if you are having a problem watching your DVD player on your TV and I will be happy to assist you. DVD players are normally connected to TV using, RCA, Component, or HDMI cables and with these types of cables; you do not need to change a channel on your TV but an input or source. If you have your original TV remote and you turn the DVD player on, and then find the input or source button on the remote and cycle through them until you see the DVD player. You do normally need to wait about 30 seconds on each input before the video will display. If you are still having an issue, please email me and I will assist you further. Thank you!
