Landline Phone Needed For Dish Network??

I would like to cancel my telephone land line and use my cell phone exclusively...do I have to have a telephone land line for my Dish network satellite?

Hi, I will be happy to assist you. DISH does not require a land line phone connection for our receivers. If you have one, our techs will try to hook you up but you do not need it as a requirement for our service. There are certain features you will no longer have access to with a phone or internet connection. You will not be able to order PPV movies with the remote, or pay your bill online.
