Most satellite & cable provider's claim to fame is suspect. They claim to have the most & best programming for the least amount of money. The promo offers of lowball rates for a year on a two year subscription is only for new subscribers. My take on that is they'd rather waste their advertizing money trying to churn new customers than to give the customers they have the best of everything they offer, but alas that's not what they do. Dish is the service I haven't tried so I can't say they are any better or worse than the rest. I suggest you search for complaint sites just to see what the unhappy people have to say about company XYZ. It will soon become obvious that the only posters on there are the dissatisfied customer. Your best source would be to talk with neighbors & get their take on the provider services that are local to you. Best of luck to you!
