Component Connection

I have attempted many times to use this connection to my Sony TV ( Model KDL-40w2000 ) but all I get is a blank screen, whether I use Interlace or Progressive. So I always gave up and carry in with the S-Video connection.

Go to page 13 to see the input button (top left of the remote). Select the Hdmi or other connectors you are using for your A/V inputs.
