Xps M140 Coin Cell Battery, Will I Lose Information

Hi Vasmillgr,

I'm a part of Dell Social Media Team. If you are seeing any error message relating to the Coin cell battery replacement, I recommend you consider replacing the same. coin cell battery is contained on the computers motherboard that allows it to retain important system settings and remember what time and date is while the computer is off. You will not lose any data off your hard drive.
