Dell Backlit Keyboard
why doesn't backlit keyboard lights work on keyboard.. How do i tell if keyboard is backlit? it has that icon on F6 key with 5 dots on top..

You may follow the link below to know your system configuration at the point of sale and verify if your system has an
Backlight keyboard installed.

(Enter your service tag and select configuration)
If you have the backlight keyboard installed, make sure it is enabled in System Setup(Bios) and restart your system.
Press Fn + F6 to enable/display backlight on the keyboard in windows environment.
