Mass Storage Controller Driver
Since I installed Windows 8, I have a problem with my laptop.
The mass storage controller driver is missing.
Where can I find it?

The mass storage controller driver is usually included in the Operating System. However, if this was disabled you cannot use the USB ports of your Dell Vostro 1710. Please follow the steps below on how you can enable/update its driver.
1. Click Start/Windows logo
2. Right click My Computer/Computer
3. Click the Deevice Manager
4. Click the Universal Serial Bus Controllers
5. Right click the USB Mass USB Mass Storage device
6. Finally, click the Update Driver or Enable
