Dell P1913 Driver Installation
Hi,Im using a Dell P1913 Monitor and the Maximum resolution is 1440x900 but Windows is showing upto 4k Resolutions and my Monitor cannot display it. So i downloaded the Driver for my monitor but its just giving me this error. Im using a GTX550ti with a VGA to DVI-D Adapter. Also can you use a DVI-I connector for GPU which has DVI-D connector only?

The resolution you have is the maximum the monitor will support.
I have attached a link to a document which explains the difference between the different DVI connectors for you to make your assessment of how you can resolve your problem
