Touch Pad Sensitivity Problem

My husband gifted me a Dell Latitude E6530 a month ago,It works great but for the last two weeks the mouse pad has been opening up a box that would regularly open only when you right-click.  This happens when you left-click with the regular keypad, or move the mouse around.  I ran a Malaware Virus Scan, too, but there was no indication of a virus.  We have been not able to fix this problem.  With an external USB mouse, this problem does not appear.  Please give us some sort of advice to solving this problem. Thank you,  Mrs. Garimella.

Hi Garimella,

Please boot the computer in safe mode. To boot the computer in Safe Mode, please switch on the computer and start tapping the F8 key which would take you to Advanced Boot Option screen. Using the up and down arrow key, select “Safe Mode” to boot the computer into Safe Mode.

If the touchpad is working fine in Safe Mode then follow the steps given below:

Uninstall the touchpad drivers and restart the computer. Once the system starts up, install the touch pad driver by clicking the link mentioned below:

http://dell.to/10pbCPJ

-- Choose the operating system.
-- Download and install the drivers for touchpad.
-- Restart the computer. Please check if the issue is resolved now.

Please respond for further assistance.

Thanks & Regards
Rathish C
