Cant Get Sound Through Hdmi Cable On Dell 6420

I'm from the Social Media Team.
To obtain sound through HDMI cable, you will need to set HDMI as the default audio device by following the steps provided below:
1. Right-click the volume control icon on the bottom taskbar and click on "Playback Devices" to open the pop-up window for sound options.
2. In the "Playback" tab, select "Digital Output Device" or "HDMI" as the default device.
3. Click "Set Default" and click "OK" to save the changes.
