Reset Bios Inspiron 4010 How Long Remove Battery

Hi victootolo,

Please follow the steps given below to reset the BIOS to default settings.

1. Restart the system. Click on "Start," "Turn off Computer" and "Restart."

2. Press "F2" during the boot process to enter the BIOS. Press "F2" before the Windows loading screen.

3. Press F9 to set BIOS default.

4. Press F10 to save changes and exit.

There is no need to remove the battery for reseating BIOS to defaults. Please reply if you have any questions, I'll be happy to assist you.
