How Do I Unlock With Out A Password
I recently purchased an old Dell Inspiron 7000 from a yardsale.
It is lockde down good and I dont have a password.
If there a way to do a system wipe and start over from factory settings with out any password?

Hi,
I work for Dell's Social Media Team. Assuming the recovery partition is not damaged, or the hard drive was not formatted, then you can press CTRL + F11 key at the Dell Logo on power up, to restore the computer to factory settings. If its been formatted or damaged, then only option is to manually reinstall windows using the discs that came with the computer. Use the below link for help.
