Virus removal is a job for a local PC repair shop.  It will cost you far less in the long run to have a local tech take care of it for you.

Do you have up to date anti virus software?  If not you can download free software here: http://www.avast.com/index.

The program is free for home use but you need to register it (for free) each year.   I recommend this over the commercial paid for programs.

If you would like to fix this your self you can do a number of things.

  1. First install up to date AV software
  2. Run a live scanner like McAfee's Stinger tool http://www.mcafee.com/us/downloads/free-tools/stinger.aspx
  3. Download a burn an offline scanner CD. http://www.techmixer.com/free-bootable-antivirus-rescue-cds-download-list/

Due to the nature of the way newer virus work the ONLY way to detect and remove them is with Windows offline.  This is the best way to make sure nothing is hiding under Windows where it can't be found.  I highly recommend using the offline CDs.
