How Do I Get The Numbers To Work On The Letters? Tried Num Lk But It Didn't Work

I have no separate numerical keypad, but noticed there is one on the letters and numbers 7, 8 and 9 to simulate a numerical keyboard to turn on. I hit "Num Lk" to try to get this to work rather than use the numbers horizontally across the typing keyboard. The "Num Lk" isn't turning it on by itself. Perhaps a function key needs to be pressed as well? The reason I need this is I'm taking a Data Entry test at home, and the numerical keypad would make it faster.

Hello amoesch04,

I am from Dell Social Media and Community.

The numeric keypad mode will be enabled only if you have the function (Fn) key held at the same time.
As they are indicated in Blue colur and the function key is also in Blue colur.

If you let go of the function key the numeric keypad will not work, you need to push and hold the function key at all times.
