Setup Of Vpn Passthrough On Dfl-210
I have a network shared by many unrelated users. One user wants to establish a VPN connection usning the MMS client from his Windows 7 workstation to a remote Windows 2003 server. This works fine if we connect direct to the broadband modem (so I know the client and server are properly configured), but when we include the DFL-210 and configure Internet access, all works well except that we cannot establish the VPN. The DFL-210 was setup before I came into the picture, but it appears that the setup was just a simple wizard install for a static IP address. When the VPN attempts to establish, the username and password simply do not authenticate. I expect that VPN passthrough is being blocked by the DLF-210. There are no lan-to-wan ports setup to be blocked by the firewall. So the DFL-210 is not being used to establish the VPN - it only needs to be set to allow the traffic between the client and the remote server. Do instructions for this exist? Thanks so very much.
