The retaining nut on most Cub Cadet riding mower blades is a 5/8" thread diameter, which normally requires a 15/16" wrench or socket to remove.

I hope this is helpful? PLEASE "ACCEPT" and mark it "HELPFUL" to complement my little effort. Hope to bring you more detailed answers.

The Cub Cadet CC 760ES walk-behind mower uses a blade retaining nut with a size of 5/8 inch (0.625 inches) or 16mm. This nut is used to secure the blade to the mower's spindle. When removing or replacing the blade, it's essential to use the correct size socket or wrench to ensure a proper fit and avoid damaging the nut. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety guidelines when working on your lawn mower.
