Cant Install Windows 7 In Hp Compaq Dx7400

hi am trying to load windows 7 pro to my hp compaq dx7400 microtower but when it starts"copying windows files" section it restarts and hungs. i have tried with windows vista and it behaves the same. but i can successfully install windows xp Sp2. how can i solve this problem ?
