When My Computer Wont Boot From Hard Disk, Needs Cd To Boot.

Say There Is No Media In Remote Boot Device, Please Insert Media Or Reset Target. I Have Just Formatted The Hard Drive And Install Xp And It Wont Boot From The Hard Drive. Unable To Reset Boot Order As No Blue Screen Appears When The Computer Starts Up. Any Ideas On How To Fix This.

I think that there is a problem with the Operating System of your Compaq dc7900. Basically, your computer cannot load the boot sector files from the computer. The best solution is reinstall the Operating System using the working Windows installer. You can buy a Windows Operating System from the link provided below.
