Keyless Entry Issues

After a dust storm in AZ, our 2007 town & country van both keyless remotes stopped working. You have to be inside the van  for it to work.  Replaced batteries in key, but no effect.  Another strange thing, when the van is in the garage the remotes for the garage opener do not work. Take the vaway an and they work. A little help please.
