You have to unbolt the gas tank straps and lower it down to gain access to the fuel filter and the lines attached to it. Not too hard to do, but use 2x4's to brace the tank and slowly lower it down. You don't want to damage the tank by unbolting it and just letting it drop down onto the ground.
