Where Is Cabin Air Filter Located And How Do You Get At It?

I know this because I just changed mine. Unlatch the glove box and let it swing down - you don't have to completely remove it from the car. There is a safety wire on the right side that prevents it from swinging down too far. You have to slide its plastic connector up and through the hole on the side of the glove box to release it.

Once you have the glove box out of the way the cabin air filter housing can be seen. Unlatch the tabs on either side of the cover, remove the cover and now you can just pull out the filter. Pay attention to the direction the arrows are pointing on the filter for the proper airflow when you install the new one.

AutoZone sells the cabin air filter and after you see the size of it you'll get a better idea of what to look for behind the glove box.
