Low Tire Indicator Light On
I have had a low tire indicator lamp caused by a defective sender unit in my right front tire. The tire pressure is fine and Discount Tire proved it in to a dead battery inside the tire sender unit. A new tire preassure sender unit will cost $100.00. Rather then spend the $100.00 I would like to somehow shut off the low tire lamp indicator on the dashboard panel. I have checked my tire pressure manually for fifty years and do not need a indicator lamp to tell me I have a low tire. If all four of my low pressure tire sender unit batteries go out I would be out $400.00. What a money maker for GM.
