Cd Player Fuse.

i have a 2006 chevey malibu lt. the radio do not show anything and does not lights up at all. ive trying to replace the fuse thats in the car but it keeps blowing out the fuses. i want to know is there something that is make the fuse go out every time i put one in.

sounds like there is a short in the wireing, you would have to find the hareness and look for any exposed wires, and make sure the ground wire is still connected.

the problem can be in the radio too, like a shorted audio amplifier 

first just disconnect the harness that goes to the radio and put a new fuse 

if the fuse not blown then the problem is not on the connections but on the radio
