Cruise Control

I TOOK MY CAR TO HAVE BRAKES CHECKED AND NOW MY CRUISE CONTROL DOES NOT WORK.  2002 CHEVY IMPALA..COULD THIS BE A FUSE? OR RELATED TO BRAKES....SEEMS AWFULLY COINCIDENTAL.

They must have disturbed or disconnected one or more of the speed sensors on the wheels. I don't think cruise control will work if the speed sensors are disconnected, dirty or not in the correct place on the vehicle. Someone may have bent the tab that connects one of the sensors to the car. Take it back to them and tell them what's wrong and to check the sensors.
