According to the CenturyLink website, no phone line is required. RJ-45 cable is only used to connect your computer or other devices to your modem or router. How the internet gets into your house depends on your service provider (CenturyLink). I'm not sure what kind of internet service they provide. They should install everything for you when you sign up anyway so you shouldn't have to worry about it.
