How Easy Is It To Falsify Information On A Car Fax Report?

I bought a used car from a used car dealer that had just come from a new car dealer. The report was very encouraging because all the required maintenance had been done over the years at the dealer. I even called the original dealer to check some of the information on the car fax report and was told the car had been owned by someone who worked in the service dept at the dealership. I had the car 3 days and it died . After putting $800+ into a new alternator, starter! battery and then 10 hours labor to find electrical shorts that could have started the car on fire, now I find out the air conditioning doesn't work either. Sorry but I will never trust car fax again. I am reporting both the new car dealership and the used car dealer to the state and the Better Business Bureau. Obviously someone was doctoring the reporting to cover up problems with this car. Dangerous and expensive problems.
