I Print Nly Black Ink On My Canon Printer But It Will Not Print Until I Replace
until I replace red ink, I replaced that then it continued printing a few pages (black ink) and then refused to print until I replace the blue ink. I don't want to replace expensive colored ink when I don't even print anything in color. Happy only with just black.

Greetings. Sadly most printer companies claims that they mix all four colors to come out with quality black color for black and white prints. Also, each time the printhead is cleaned or each time the printer is turned on, an amont from all four colors gets to be wiped away. Some Canon printer will let you tell the printer to only print from any one of the two cartridge (i.e. either from the color cartridge or from the black one).
