Networked Printer Functions But No Text Appears On Page For Any Type Of Document

Year old printer is neworked and all computers can connect and execute a printing command, the page is 'printed' but no text appears. This happened once before and I reinstalled which I did again this a.m. but same problem. Running Windows 7 via IE 11 and Firefox. Macs are also networked with this printer and had worked fine until today.
