Sudden Change In Print Quality
I've printed a lot of beautiful, bright and colorfully detailed photos on this printer over the past several years. Now all of a sudden the brilliance has disappeared! The photos are coming out dull and lifeless. I've run through all the maintenance and cleaning procedures, made sure the ink cartridges are full and new not dried up and insured that I'm using the proper paper. None of this has improved the quality of the photos. Any idea what's going on?

If you have tried cleaning nozzles and alighning and even replacing the cartridges (as this model uses those with integrated printheads). Then the only other probable and left out would be the encoder strip - it may be dirty.
