Hello jolast77,

Printing directly from most smartphones can be accomplished using the free Google Airprint software.

Once set up (See link above for full details) you will be able to print from an android and/or iphone device wirelessly.

Update: I can ASSURE you jolast77 there should be no compatibility issues between your printer model and the AirPrint Software.

As for RUDDI - Hate to tell you this RUDDI BUT YOUR ANSWER IS INCORRECT. Maybe you should view the compatibility list of Canon Printers located at the following:

Hi. The MG3522 is sadly NOT Airprint enabled - you can download and use the 'Canon Easy PhotoPrint' application here if you are using an Android-powered device. You'll please repost if you are using a different phone platform (iOS, Blackberry, etc)
