Rolled Hem Foot & Needle In Up Position

I inherited a ULT2001 & like it so far BUT I need a rolled hem foot & after purchasing 2 and finding them NOT rolling the hem (due to the fact & can't move the needle to the right) Is there an answer to that? Also, is it possible to opt to have the needle stop in the up position instead of down?

Step 1 Cut the fabric edge straight - hope you have nice sharp scissors Mine feels as if it has inherited rat's teeth.

Step 2 Turn under the fabric edge twice - each 1/8 inch. - this is the first marking on the inch in your tape measure. It is essential that the raw edge is enclosed in the fold of fabric.

Finger press the first few inches

Step 3

Lower the presser foot

Start stitching.Stitch first 2 stitches without the fabric fold inside the roll of the foot. After this done, take the presser foot lever up, and keep the needle down.
