Ped Basic Will Let Let Me Move .pes File To The Card

I have a .pes file for a 4x4 hoop that I am unable to access in PED Basic. I can see the sizes for the larger hoops, but not the 4x4. When I click on properties, it says the file is the right size. I have downloaded two different designs from two different sites and cannot access either of them. I have not had these issues before. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
