Sewing Room

A Sewing Room is a space dedicated to sewing and sewing related hobbies. Often a dream come true, a sewing room is where you can leave your machine set up and your supplies laid out, as well as a place to store fabric and other items. It doesn't need to be a room with 4 walls, but a dedicated space for your creative energy available for you at any time.

Benefits of a Sewing Room
  • A Sewing Room offers a space to house a growing collection of fabric and supplies
  • A Sewing Room doesn't necessarily need to be cleaned up before serving dinner or hosting company
  • A Sewing Room is a quiet place for you to sew without distraction.

Turn on the machine and select the character sewing mode.

Press the [Space] button to open the spacing menu.

Use the < > buttons to adjust the spacing.

Press the [Space] button to close the spacing menu.

The default spacing for character sewing is 0.5 mm. You can adjust the spacing up to 2 mm.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when adjusting the spacing for character sewing:

The spacing will be applied to all characters, including letters, numbers, and symbols.

If you are sewing multiple characters together, the spacing will be applied between each character.

If you are sewing a border, the spacing will be applied between each stitch in the border.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Here are some troubleshooting tips if you are having trouble adjusting the spacing:

Make sure that the machine is turned on and in the character sewing mode.

Make sure that the spacing menu is open.

Try using the < > buttons to adjust the spacing.

If the spacing is still not correct, you may need to adjust the machine's settings.

If you are still having trouble, you can contact Brother customer support for assistance.
