Connecting Mfc-j6719dw Scanner Function To Adobe Acrobat X.

My new MFC-J6710DW connected wirelessly with great ease to allow me to print PDF and other documents. However, when I am in Acrobat X seeking to create a new PDF from the scanner function, the J6710DW does not show up as an option (For printers I have a MFC 6490DW that shows as an option, as well as the J6710DW. In the create pdf from scanner mode, the only printer that shows up is the 6490DW, which is not present at the location from which I am trying to scan. Can you help?

I've got a HP Wlan Printer, and a friend of mine got a WLan Brother All In One, we both had the same problem scanning and printing via a Wireless connection

I found out that if I connect my Printer with a USB cable, so a direct connection with my PC and not via WiFi, my Print device is recognized and shows up in the Printer list, and I can scan and print to PDF, Word etc.
