Can I Return A Book That's Damaged?
I bought a book from Barnes and Noble (at the store), not realizing that the book was damaged. Will I be able to exchange it for a new one?

B&N requires that the item be in its "original state." My guess is that the determination of "original state" may be up to the local store. Otherwise, B&N states only:
"To return an item within 14 days of purchase simply bring the item and your cash register receipt to your local Barnes & Noble store for a refund to your original form of payment. Please contact your local store for more details.
"Please note: If you used PayPal to complete your order, the store will provide a Barnes & Noble Gift Card or in-store credit."
The above is not worded very well, but my guess (again) is that you must make the return within 14 days of purchase.
