Based on my online research, you can download the audio driver software for your Asus P5GL-MX from the support website of Asus. Here's the link to the download page.

http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=P5GL-MX&p=1&os=

Remember to select the right Operating System and proceed to the Audio driver download. Download the driver software and install on your computer system.

Here is a link below however it is only for O/S Windows XP and lower. Vista does not have any update audio drivers.
