How To Delete Pictures

To delete pictures or any file for that matter all you need to do is select the file and send to the bin. Then proceed to the bin and select empty. The file will be gone. Sophisticated software may be able to recover a file so the only sure way is to format the drive back to factory and the re-install the O/S.

I am assuming you are referring to a Macbook or similar. You do not specify the actual model of Mac.

Open Photos. From the Library tab, tap All Photos and select the photo or video that you want to delete. Tap the Trash button , then tap Delete Photo.

Open Photos.

Most of the time, you can't delete photos on your iPhone because they're synced to another device. If your photos are synced to your computer with iTunes or Finder, they can only be deleted when connecting your iPhone to your computer. If this isn't the case, then iCloud Photos might be turned on
