What Can I Do With A Jailbroke Ipod Touch?

Yes jailbreaking is a hack and is not under Apple's warranty. If anything goes wrong and you 'brick' your iPod Apple will not be held reasonable and will not fix nor replace your iPod/iPhone

Do it at your own risk. Be aware though that the iPhone/iPod touch's SDK (software Development Kit) will be coming out very soon. This will allow developer to create really cool applications and Apple will allow you to put these on your iPod, throughiTunes and will not void any warranty or 'brick' your iPod.

I can't tell you if Apple are going to charge for the applications or when the SDK will come out as i am not allowed to give you such information but this is better than jailbreaking
