My Apple Ipod Classic 80gb Is Not Showing The Used And Free Memory

i conected my ipod classic 80GB in to my computer and i formatted the  memory.now it does not shows the free memory.it shows 0kb.when i eject it from my computer it was restarted

There are 2 possible reasons why your Apple MB147LL cannot detect its storage device properly. First the problem may be related to the partition error. The storage drive must be properly partitioned for this to be solved. You can use partition manager software to manage the partition of your Apple MB147LL drive. Some of the popular partition manage r software are Paragon and Easeus which can be downloaded here:

If this doesn't work, there might be a problem with the hardware part of the device which cannot be repaired because replacement parts are not available for this device.
