Old Ipod Compatible With Current Itunes?

Is the Apple MA477LL - iPod Nano 2 GDigital Player compatible with iTunes version 10?  My partner just got a new Nano, but my music is already on the laptop.  Okay to update to the newer version of iTunes?  We have two accounts on the laptop, so that's not a problem. Just want to be sure the older iPod is compatible with V10 of iTunes. Thanks.
