Flight Change

I found out today that I have Shingles, which is contagious. I have a flight booked for thi Friday, 10/25/13 to Denver with a return flight to OKC on the 29th. Is there any way I can change my flight days or put them on hold until I am over this illness, which should be within 2 weeks?

Call American at 1-800-433-7300 and ask to speak with a representative. After a menu of options you can say representative and it should direct you to a live person, although it may ask you a series of questions before connecting you with someone.

Explain your situation and they will give you information on what you need to do. Be prepared to provide documentation from a doctor if necessary.
