Amanda Tandem 7300 Model#nfw7300ww02.

I have an Amana Tandem 7300 model# NFW7300WW02 front loader washer. At first the washer would work completely fine going through every cycle like it's supposed to when there was NO clothes in the machine. I could throw a single item of clothing in the machine and press the start button and it wouldn't do anything but beep and the "Wash Light" would blink (3x) pause and then blink (2x). Can anyone help me decipher this code or inform me on where to find the error codes for this particular machine. Or If you know for sure what the problem is would be great as well. I have already replaced the door locking mechanism and the drain pump with filter. Thank y'all very much for the help!!

The blinking "Wash Light" with a 3x pause and then 2x blink on your Amana Tandem 7300 model# NFW7300WW02 front loader washer indicates an error code. This specific error code is related to the communication between the washer's control board and the motor control board. Here are a few things you can try to fix the issue:
  1. Check the wiring connections: Make sure all the wiring connections between the control board and the motor control board are secure and free of any damage.
  2. Replace the motor control board: If the wiring connections appear to be fine, the motor control board may need to be replaced. This component is responsible for controlling the motor and the drum speed during different cycles.
  3. Replace the main control board: If replacing the motor control board does not solve the issue, the main control board may need to be replaced. This board is responsible for controlling all of the washer's functions.

If none of these solutions fix the issue, it may be best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and repair the problem. They will have the necessary tools and expertise to properly diagnose and fix the issue with your washer.

Please respond to my effort to provide you with the best possible solution by using the "Acceptable Solution" and/or the "Helpful" buttons when the answer has proven to be helpful.

The blinking lights and beeping sound you're experiencing with your Amana Tandem 7300 washer may indicate an error code. According to the Amana Tandem 7300 washer's service manual, a "Wash Light" that blinks three times, followed by a pause, and then blinks two times again is an indication of a communication error between the central control unit and the motor control unit.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Unplug the washer: First, unplug the washer from the power source and wait for a few minutes.
  2. Check the wiring connections: Ensure that all the wiring connections between the central control unit and the motor control unit are secure and not damaged.
  3. Check for water supply issues: Ensure that the water supply to the washer is turned on and that there are no kinks or damage to the water inlet hoses.
  4. Check the door latch: Ensure that the washer door is properly closed and latched. If the door latch is faulty or damaged, it may prevent the washer from starting.
  5. Call for service: If the issue persists, you may need to call a qualified service technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

If the issue is related to the communication error, it may require replacing either the central control unit or the motor control unit. A qualified technician will be able to diagnose the problem and provide a solution.
